Reflective Objects, 2003

The project maps the representative aspects of how we choose to present our homes.

The project Reflective Objects maps the representative aspects of how we choose to present our homes. The project has entered and challenged a range of random homes, using camera zooms to capture close-ups of various reflective objects that have been placed in the homes for ornamental purposes – or simply left behind after use. These reflective objects offer up mirror images of rooms, furniture, pictures, objects and electronic devices, distorting them while also testifying to the context of which they are part.

Medium: Photos of reflective objects from various homes, C-type print, picture frame.
